DR JIDONG WU

Dr Jidong Wu graduated from
Nanjing Medical School of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in 1979, and
practised Chinese medicine in a general hospital for four years. In 1986, Dr
Wu completed his master's degree in medicine from Shanghai University of
TCM. He then worked as a lecturer and consultant at Nanjing University of
TCM. He was appointed as associated professor there in 1992.
Dr Wu came to England in 1993. He has been engaged in Chinese medicine
practitioner training and practiting since then. He was the Programme leader of BSc
TCM at Middlesex University - the first Chinese medicine degree programme in
Europe. Currently he is a senior lecturer and Professional adviser to
traditional Chinese medicine degree course at Middlesex University. He is
also lecturing at Dublin Acupuncture Foundation and Amsterdam,
Netherlands.
In June 2006,Dr Wu finished his PhD project and awarded Doctor degree in medicine in the field of acupuncture by the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
Dr Jidong Wu has been practising TCM at London and Cambridge area since
1994. He specialises in Acupuncture therapy. He is also good at treating
gynaecological disorders with Chinese medicine with good reputation.
Dr Wu is in charge of a research project - Chinese medicine treatment for
colitis. This project was funded by Middlesex University.
Dr Wu is registered with The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) - a self-regulated professioanl body in the UK and a fellow member of ATCM. He is an
Honorary member of Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
